In 1993, Brandon Lee, the son of Bruce Lee, was accidentally shot on set at EUE/Screen Gem Studios while filming the movie The Crow and was rushed to the New Hanover Regional Medical Center where, after six hours of emergency surgery, Lee was pronounced dead. He was just 28 years old.
